Boke Bowl
Our story
Boke Bowl started as a monthly pop-up experience in Portland, Oregon in September of 2010. After just over one year, Boke opened a casual Asian comfort cuisine restaurant in Portland’s Central Eastside Industrial District.
In 2014, Boke opened its second location on NW 18th and Northrup. After restructuring during the onset of the pandemic in 2020 to support only take-out, we moved back to just having our original flagship restaurant on SE Water Ave. We feel lucky to have continued to thrive throughout a period that has been so tough for restaurants in Portland.
Today, we offer in-person dining, takeout, delivery, catering, and private buy outs. We are incredibly proud of our long history, consistency and commitment to being a crowd favorite, locally-owned restaurant in Portland.
Boke Bowl serves ramen with handmade noodles, unique slow simmered dashis, and seasonally changing accouterments aimed to satisfy carnivores, pescatarians, vegans, and children alike.
Other dishes include seasonal steam buns, fresh salads, house-brined pickles, and miso butterscotch twinkies. Boke also hosts a weekly (Thursdays) Korean Fried Chicken Night at the Eastside location, and weekend Dim Sum service (Saturday and Sunday, 11am-2pm) at the Westside location.
